Drag it to Applications
Do not open it from the disk image — settings and screen-recording permission will not survive that. Then eject the image.

Allow Screen Recording
System Settings → Privacy & Security. It is what lets the app hear the interviewer through system audio.

Confirm it is invisible
Run the built-in screen-share test once. It captures your display the way a meeting app does and tells you what survived.
